Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 July 2026

This policy explains what happens to the personal details you share when you contact Jack Collier through the booking enquiry form on this website. It's written to be plain and honest — the short version is: your details are used only to reply to you, and they're never sold or shared for marketing.

Who's responsible for your data

Jack Collier (a professional bassist based in the UK) is the "data controller" for the information you submit here. If you have any question about your data, or you'd like to see, correct or delete what we hold, you can reach out using the enquiry form or via Instagram @jack_collier_bass.

What we collect

When you fill in the booking enquiry form, we collect only what you type into it:

The form also includes a hidden anti-spam field that genuine visitors never see or fill in. We don't ask for anything we don't need, and there's no obligation in sending an enquiry.

Why we collect it

Purely so Jack can read your enquiry and get back to you about your event or booking. That's it — we don't add you to any mailing list, and we don't use your details for anything else.

The lawful basis for handling your information is that you've asked us to respond to you, and it's in both our interests to be able to discuss a potential booking.

How it's handled and stored

The form is powered by Netlify Forms. When you submit it, your details are securely transmitted to and stored by Netlify (Netlify, Inc.), which acts as our processor, and an email notification is sent to Jack so he can reply. You can read Netlify's own privacy terms at netlify.com/privacy.

We keep enquiries only as long as needed to deal with your booking and our records of it, then delete them.

Cookies & other services

This site doesn't set any tracking or advertising cookies, and there's no analytics profiling you as you browse. Two third-party services do load as part of the page:

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it's wrong, or delete it. Just get in touch and we'll sort it out. If you're ever unhappy with how your data has been handled, you have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date at the top will change with it. This version applies from the date shown.
